is great for small rides but size gets in the way on long rides i use it everyday for a two mile ride to my work and it does greatWell, it worked good about two months then the preformed not so good. It cannot go the slightest hill or slope tho. Goes an decent speed. Brakes are not too good but ok. After that pretty good! If you wants a cheap present thats good this is perfectly fine!My son loves itI bought this for my son for Christmas. He used it for a month and it stopped working. It would not charge anymore. I contacted the seller since I bought the insurance only to get the run around. They keep sending emails with the same questions and say that we won’t suffer a loss. My last message from them a few weeks ago said they were troubleshooting the problem and would get back to me and never did. I guess I need to file a direct complaint with Amazon. I would not buy from this company if they are not going to stand by there products or warranty.Update: 9/12/22The company did reach out after and tried to help fix the skateboard. In the end I was offered a full refund or a new skateboard by which my son chose a new skateboard. I am very happy with the results and happy with the company for standing by there product.Liked everything giftI’ve used this daily to get to classes in my town Been super handy and efficient. Love how portable it is. I’ve had this for about 2 years now and it’s basically dead. When I first got it, the fully charged battery could easily make my trip there and back with some extra mileage. Now it’s not even making a round trip (which is about 2.5 miles). Even when fully charged, the battery goes in and out- basically fluctuating in speed when it wants, even if I have it at a higher setting. It’s been a good board up until then.I feel like there are other options that have comparable features for a better price. I can’t remember why I chose this particular board but I rode it to an unreturnable state out of excitement of finally having an electric board. If I had more patience or if I were better at being an adult I’d have packed it up and waited for the longboard I subsequently ordered to arrive (this board is smaller than I thought). Top speeds feel okay but I won’t have a point of reference until the 28mph long board arrives. Controller feels okay but I was disappointed to realize I didn’t have a way to easily monitor my speed. I couldn’t tell you if I was getting close to the top speed. Stopping took a while to learn — it seemed to stop more abruptly than I initially expected. I like the handle that’s hollowed out for you and it is not too heavy. The materials seem to be holding well despite my also using the board as game for my dog to chase, nip at, and flip over. I’m sure I could’ve found something comparable for $30 cheaper or something with slightly better specs at the same price but I’m not really that upset that i used it past the point of being returnable. Oh battery life seems fairly decent.I bought this for my 10-year-old son for Christmas, but get got around to leaving a review. I was skeptical of buying it cause I thought it would be another one of those expensive items that my son would use once and then never use it again. I sure was wrong. He absolutely LOVES it.
